Sambawood "Character" Grade an interesting mixture of the medium/dark brown heartwood and the light colored subwood. This grade allows minor defects such as small tight knots, etc.

Sambawood is a true brown colored wood with a very pleasant appearance. It has a soft grain with a fairly uniform medium brown color. The wood is stable and has a medium hardness of approximately 2000 lbs/sq" on the Janka scale.
